This list includes these players: Thomas Clement (2016), Zachery Thompson (2017), Davon Harris (2018), Jimel London (2018), and Bailey Luckett (2018). These five we will break down to continue the recaps.
Thomas Clement 2016 Guard ED White
Clement does a lot of his best work in high school in the pinch post area but during games at the combine he showed off his ability to play in the backcourt. During testing he proved he's much more athletic than suspected and can shoot the ball extremely well. He'll be counted on big time for ED White this year and should draw some interest from D2 – NAIA schools.
Zachery Thompson 2017 Shooting Guard Belle Chasse
From his display late in the grassroots season until now, Thompson has really come onto the scene. He is a smooth lefty that really showed off his mid-range and finishing at the rim to add to his deep range. He tested extremely well vertically and as his lateral quickness improves, he'll be on many more college radars.
Davon Harris 2018 Point Guard West Feliciana
Harris stood out from the first time he walked in as a well built, albeit smaller, athlete. There was no surprise when he tested well in any of the athletic phases of the day. He really opened eyes when he shot the ball so well and with his gameplay throughout the event. He's got a real shot to impress going forward with West Feliciana.
Jimel London 2018 Point Guard East Ascension
London is one of those players who make life easy on his coaches. He's a leader on the floor who can easily run a team to any coaches liking. Whether it is playing uptempo or needing to get into a set in the half court, he's able to succeed. Seeing him excel in a camp atmosphere where players like that often don't succeed is impressive.
Bailey Luckett 2018 Small Forward Catholic
We've always said that when players take notice of another player performing well, it's something to watch. There was audible talk amongst players when Luckett touched the ball. He scored in a variety of ways and always played hard and smart. There is some work to be done athletically over the next couple years but there are some coaches on lower levels who should keep tabs.
