Mr. Basketball Candidate: Mitchell Robinson

There will be a power ranking of those players as the season approaches.</em></span></span><br /><br /><span style="color:rgb(34, 34, 34); font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif; font-size:12px"><span style="font-size:14px"><strong>Player: </strong>Mitchell Robinson, Chalmette, 6&#39;11 PF/C</span></span><br /> <br /> <span style="color:rgb(34, 34, 34); font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif; font-size:12px"><span style="font-size:14px"><strong>Previous Season: </strong>Was in Florida at Pine, Chalmette struggled and missed playoffs</span></span><br /> <br /> <span style="color:rgb(34, 34, 34); font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif; font-size:12px"><span style="font-size:14px"><strong>Why Will He Win?</strong> Mitchell Robinson looks like he&#39;ll finally play high school basketball in Louisiana after a few years of it being hinted at. He&#39;s the type of talent with the ability to play inside/out at 6&#39;11 to completely change a team and district. If he puts the numbers up and gets Chalmette out the first round or two of the playoffs, he has a shot. Especially in his district with 3 other guys 6&#39;8 or taller in it. He just needs to dominate nightly and take Chalmette a long ways.</span></span><br /> <br /> <span style="color:rgb(34, 34, 34); font-family:verdana,geneva,sans-serif; font-size:12px"><span style="font-size:14px"><strong>Why Won&#39;t He Win? </strong>He is a relative unknown to anyone who isn&#39;t a basketball enthusiast and not sure if he&#39;ll have the time to make up that ground. There is also the issue of playing in one of the toughest districts in the state on a team that without him wouldn&#39;t likely make the playoffs (especially after their starting PG moved to Baker). If Chalmette can get to the Quarterfinals and he dominates the other big men in his district, he&#39;ll have a real shot at Mr. Basketball.</span></span></p>
