<h2>Preseason Player of the year</h2><p><strong>Jal Bijiek, Des Moines North, 2017: </strong>The rangy and athletic forward burst onto the scene this summer, and is the only player in the conference to hold a Division I offer (North Dakota). He transferred into North from Ames&#39; Promise Academy and will be a nightmare match up with his ability to play inside and out.
