Chase Knickerbocker, Annandale. Scored in numerous ways every night. Massive season, bigger than expected.
Nate Lorenz, Breckenridge. Double-double average and took his team to state leading on both ends.
Sam Pendleton, Redwood Falls. Took his team to state creating just about every scoring chance.
David Stokman, Maple Lake. His team lost twice and David was the ultimate playmaker.
Second Team
Jonah Breiter, Maple River. Scored 20, handled, defended, did it all.
Ben Ellefson, Hawley. Future football talent but he’s a fantastic hooper too, great year.
Michael Gutierrez, St. Croix Prep. Scored 32 a game and squeezed everything he could from his team.
Trenton Krueger, St. Croix Lutheran. 16 and 8, took his team to state, won a tough section.
Ade Lamu, St. Croix Lutheran. 16 and 8, took his team to state, won a tough section, part 2.
Third Team
Tyler Braegelmann, Melrose. The top scorer and rebounder from the state champs.
Arione Farrar, Mpls Roosevelt. Super fun playmaker led Roosevelt to a memorable season.
Brady Kuchinka, Lake City. Had Lake City number one for a while scoring and distributing.
Dalante Peyton, St. Paul Academy. Man o man has he evolved as a handler and shooter. Will pop eyes in Grassroots play.
Kyle Sorenson, Caledonia. The man in the middle for the state runner up a second straight season.
Fourth Team
Ja’Vonni Bickham, Minnehaha Academy. Growing every day in all ways, consistent numbers all year.
Chris Olson, Braham. Explosive scoring nights had Braham basketball ranked highly most of the year.
Eric Staebler, Morris Area. Hearing 30 and 20 was not uncommon for this stat stuffer.
Brindley Theisen, St. Cloud Cathedral. Corner turner, jump shots knocked down, Cathedral with another nice year.
Jaxson Turner, Esko. Led Esko to state in what was to be the “down year”. Kid knows how to lead.
Trae Berhow, Watertown-Mayer. Stepped up as a scorer putting up 20 plus a game.
Nick Dufault, Waseca. Scored 18 a game for Waseca who was highly ranked once again all year.
Conrad Engstrom, New Life Academy. Serious tough guy that seriously finds ways to score on everybody.
Owen King, Caledonia. Leading scorer while also handling the ball for the state runner up.
Brandon Newman, Barnum. Barnum was undefeated most of the season and Brandon led the way.
Sixth Team
Bodey Behrends, JCC. Massive numbers in the paint. He stopped others teams from scoring, rebounded everything, allowed his teammates to run all the time.
Mo Lawal, Breck. Another strong year both scoring and handling the basketball, great four years.
Brett Mattice, EV-W. Scored 20 a game for a top ten team all year.
Drake Meyer, Melrose. His state tournament play put him on here.
Jared Streit, EV-W. Scored 19 a game and led his team in boards.
Spencer Tollefson, NRHEG. Had 19 a game for a good, balanced team.
