Reid is a compact bucket-getter with a fearless approach. Though undersized, he compensates with quick-twitch burst and a knack for creating separation. His shot mechanics are fluid, and he’s comfortable pulling from deep or attacking closeouts. Reid’s motor and confidence make him a name to track as he moves onto high school ball.
Reid is equipped with a quick-trigger jumper and fast feet on defense. He has the skill and knowledge to compete with older guards and isn’t afraid to take and create shots. As he adds more strength and game reps, Reid could be one of those “instant offense” freshmen that the coach can’t keep off the floor.
Reid plays with confidence and a shooter’s mentality. He relocates smartly off the ball and lets it fly in rhythm. He is a skilled, crafty finisher with deceptive athleticism and quick twitch. Watch as he continues to refine his handle and feel under pressure, the scoring instincts are there.
