How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I play with court vision, looking for assists as much as baskets, but Im also not afraid to drive, hit a spin around jumper, or go for the three.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I was diagnosed with arthritis at age three. My second grade year my mom had to carry me out of bed every morning to pee and I was painfully wobbling down the court in a year long flare before we switched meds again. I get it done. I push through. I believe in myself even when things are hard. I like to facilitate my teammates enjoying themselves and making baskets.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I am an honor roll student.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I have built my leadership qualities over the years, not just "carrying" a team, but facilitating plays, setting screens, getting everyone involves, positive, and hyped.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
See my paragraph about arthritis. I take methotrexate weekly, get infusions at the hospital every 8 weeks, and need massages every now and then to stay an elite 3 sport athlete.
What type of college are you looking for?
I really want to play D1. I enjoy elite competition. I have always been drawn to mens league, playing on a 10th grade team as a 7th grader, and being forced to stay highly engaged and active on both ends of the Court. Size doesn't matter. I am unsure of a major yet.
