About Vinny

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Pass first PG with great court vision and high basketball IQ that loves to set team up for scoring opportunities. Can score on all 3 levels as well as play defense.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I go into practice with the mentality that no one is going to outwork me. I understand the harder I work in practice and in training, the more it will benefit me on the court.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I play basketball year round and train with trainers, this does not leave a lot of time for clubs or organizations. I do like spending time with my friends, family and my dog. I have volunteered at a soup kitchen a few times with a friend and found it very rewarding to help others.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I try to lead by example by always putting in maximum effort on the court. My father was a Marine and taught me "Team Before Self" makes a good leader.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I've faced many difficulties over the years playing on different teams... from bullying to dealing with coaches that lied about their programs and scammed my parents out of money. I've never lost my love of the game and it only pushes me to prove myself.

What type of college are you looking for?

Open to any oppertunity where the coach believes I'll be a good fit and wants me to be part of the organization. I want to continue to learn and grow as a player and a person.
