About Vinnie

What's your biggest strength as a player, and how does it show up in games?

I believe my greatest strength is my ability to make the players around me better. I've always been a student of the game, and growing up with parents who coached basketball helped me develop a high basketball IQ at an early age. My understanding of the game, ability to read situations, and willingness to do whatever it takes to help my team succeed are what I believe separate me from others

What are you working to improve right now?

My biggest focus right now is continuing to get stronger and add about 10 pounds of muscle. I'm committed to improving every aspect of my game by spending extra time in the gym working on my shooting, ball handling, and agility. I take pride in having a strong work ethic and am constantly looking for ways to develop both physically and mentally so I can perform at the highest level.

What are you looking for in a college program?

I am looking for a program that will help me grow academically, athletically, and personally. I want to be part of a program that is invested in the development of its players and provides an environment that challenges them to reach their full potential. My goal is to find a place where I can continue to develop as a student, a basketball player, and a person, while becoming the best version of m

Konopka was maybe the best outlet passer I saw all day as it seemed like every time he got the ball in the backcourt, the ball was being advanced to a teammate running down the court with precision and accuracy for easy transition buckets. Konopka is a natural righty as he uses that hand to shoot jumpers, but actually seemed just as if not more comfortable finishing layups with his left hand. Being able to finish with either hand opens up so many different ways to score and Konopka showed that ability on Saturday. CVCA had a strong season last year and will again be a team to watch in northeast Ohio.
