Tysin put together a solid outing running the point for Northern Kentucky Legends. He stood out with his vocal leadership on the floor as just a freshman, as he was getting his team set on offense and defense. Does a nice job of handling the ball under pressure, and utilizes his frame to get defenders on his hip and attack the basket. Had a couple of strong finishes early in the game, and then showed his vision to drive-and-kick to his shooters as the defense started to collapse on him harder.

Weaver’s combination of athleticism, scoring, and playmaking is lethal. He drives past defenders with ease and can finish inside in traffic and through contact. He is a reliable shooter from 3-point range as well. His quick decision-making and precise passing set up teammates for scoring opportunities.

Northern Kentucky Legends was a fun team to watch in their back-and-forth contest with MR22 Elite. Weaver was a shifty guard who had some strong takes to the basket off the bounce. Another guard who handled pressure well, the passing of Weaver helped jumpstart transition opportunities. Weaver himself had a tough coast to coast layup and took contact on drives to draw fouls. Expect to hear more about this group if they stay together over the next few years.
