He was really locked in and competing at a high level in Saturday afternoon’s game. Defensively, he played with great intensity and consistently applied pressure. Offensively, he attacked the basket aggressively, finished strong through contact, rebounded at a high level, and created opportunities for his teammates. His motor and versatility were on full display as he consistently made plays on both ends of the floor.

Stevenson showed the ability to influence the game without needing every possession to run through him. He can change the pace of an offensive possession, make plays with the ball and find opportunities to attack when the defense gives him an opening. His ability to contribute in different phases gives him an intriguing foundation as he continues to develop physically and expand his game.

He set the tone early for his team in their Sunday championship victory, scoring all 10 of his points in the first half while adding five assists and four steals in the win.

Stevenson continues to build a strong case at point guard. Has the ability to create offense, make shots, and control possessions. He can put pressure on the defense without playing out of control. Whenever scoring opportunities present themselves, he takes advantage of them, but also keeps the offense moving by sharing the ball with his teammates.
