Despite battling injuries over the past 12 months, Duncan remains one of the state’s premier shot makers and a highly intriguing high academic prospect. A skilled guard with a strong feel for the game, he consistently demonstrates a high basketball IQ and understands how to impact winning. Duncan possesses deep range on his jumper and is a threat to score whenever he has space, whether off the catch or pulling up off the dribble. He utilizes ball screens effectively, reads defenses well, and can create scoring opportunities for himself in the half court.

Duncan is a rising combo guard with incredible scoring ability, and he’s quickly becoming a name to watch. As a two-sport athlete, Duncan brings athleticism to the court that sets him apart. His sharpshooting from beyond the arc—where he knocked down over 60% of his shots in his last tournament—makes him a lethal offensive weapon. Heading into the new season, Duncan has the confidence and skill set to continue turning heads.

Duncan was letting it fly this past Saturday and was connecting on a majority of the 3’s he was taking. The 6’2″ PG has beautiful shot, with a quick release making it very hard to defend against. He might get the ball out of his hands quicker than any prospect I’ve seen at this age, and along with the rotation he puts on the ball, I would say make him one of the top 3-point shooters in the class of 2027. Duncan is a smart player with great handles and his size and length make him a difficult matchup for opposing defenses. Defensively, his length allows him to have his hands in the passing lane, looking for deflections, and turning defense into offense. Keep an eye on this sharp-shooter as he has a ton of upside entering his sophomore season.
