Ruggery is a jack of all trades guard who plays with an immense deal of physicality whenever he steps onto the floor. He is effective when he is attacking downhill and seeks out contact when contorting his body around the rim. His ability to out muscle opponents and go coast to coast in transition is one of the ways why he is a threat to score whenever he has the ball in his hands. Like how he can play off of two when he is around the paint. The southpaw finds ways to convert if he is left open from deep. Ruggery’s stocky frame allows him to eat up space on the floor. His lack of true size at the lead guard spot hurts him at the higher levels of college basketball, but he should see a plethora of schools recruiting him at the small college level.
