McDonald is a creative finisher in the lane, showing excellent body control and touch around the basket while routinely finishing through contact despite his size. He is also a capable shot maker who can knock down perimeter jumpers and keep defenders honest. An above average athlete, McDonald combines speed, explosiveness, and scoring instincts to generate offense in a variety of ways. College coaches will have plenty of opportunities to evaluate him this summer with OTP on the PUMA PRO16 circuit.
