Last year Tucker was a reserve guard for Valley Center going from the JV as a freshman at the start of the season to playing single digit minutes for about six weeks and then playing double figure minutes at the end of the year. The growth was obvious helping a ten win team. Tucker went from not playing, to playing some but being just a bit role player, to a guy taking five shots a game at the end of the season. His role should expand.

Tristan is a highly effective scorer in the mid-range area, where he shows strong touch, balance, and confidence. He does an excellent job creating separation, rising smoothly into pull-ups, and knocking down shots from the elbows and short corners. Tristan reads defenders well, using footwork and pace to get to his spots, making him difficult to guard when the game slows down. His ability to consistently convert from the mid-range adds an important dimension to the offense and makes him a reliable scoring option in key moments.

Tristan is a dynamic scorer with the ability to create his own shot off the bounce, giving him an edge against tight defenses. With a quick first step and strong ball-handling skills, he can break down defenders to generate space for mid-range jumpers, step-backs, or drives to the basket. His confidence with the ball in his hands makes him a reliable option late in the shot clock, and his creativity as a shot-maker forces opponents to stay alert at all times.
