Moves well without the ball in his hands in the half-court. Like how he can make plays by feeding his post players the rock in high-low actions. Barton cannot be left open or he will make you pay with his in-between game. I like how skillful a game he has and how he processes the game on the fly with ease. Barton is a bit of a tweener and feels like because of this it adds to his versatility.

Barton should be entrusted to do a lot for Dallastown this year as a junior. He can defend multiple positions and can hold his own on the perimeter or inside the paint. Tripp moves well without the basketball and slashes hard to the basket, where he is able to draw contact often. It will be nice to see him with the ball in his hands more as an upperclassman this season.

Barton is a versatile forward with imposing positional size on the wing. He shows the ability to stretch the floor with his shot-making. He is effective moving without the basketball and has nice touch around the bucket. He has soft hands and feet and showcases them often on the offensive end. Barton spends a fair share of time at the foul line.
