We’ve been able to see this talented guard play several times now between visits to Fort Wayne Snider High School, in the summers with LVL Up, or at various Prep Hoops events. The 5’9″ playmaker is an excellent athlete with some explosiveness as a driver and finisher. He will have a chance to fight into the backcourt rotation at Snider as a sophomore. Sims II is at his best in transition, but really impressed us on Sunday with his court vision and passing ability in the half court. He definitely has a bright future.

We had the opportunity to see Sims II play last year at our Freshman Showcase, at Fort Wayne Snider High School open gym, and then again over the course of this summer. He continues to prove himself as a solid under-the-radar guard in Indiana’s Class of 2029. Sims II is a great ball handler, explosive downhill driver, and good all-around playmaker. Look for him to make a push for some varsity minutes this season. We are very excited to have him be a part of our Prep Hoops Indiana Sophomore ID Camp.

Sims II was a very effective backcourt piece for Team 3 at the Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase. The 5’9″ point guard from Fort Wayne Snider High School was very shifty with the ball in his hands consistently winning one-on-one perimeter matchups to attack the paint. He was able to score in the intermediate range, finish at the end of his drives, and make passes out to open teammates. Snider expects him to be a real player for them down the road.
