Expert Analysis
Davis McCarn | Prep Hoops Scout
Coming off a breakout season at GAPPS program Johnson Ferry Christian Academy, Witte emerged as one of the top shooters in Georgia after knocking down 85 three-pointers, ranking 10th in the state. He’s one of my favorite hidden gems in the class of 2027 because he checks every box you look for in a high-level shooter: quick footwork, a rapid release, and elite confidence from deep. What makes him even more intriguing is that he’s far more than just a perimeter specialist. Witte also has a solid handle, can create off the bounce, and finishes well around the rim playing off two feet. His ability to score at multiple levels gives him a lot of long-term upside offensively.

Read EvaluationKyle Sandy | Prep Hoops Scout
Junior has nearly doubled his production across the board, going from 10.7 points and 4.8 rebounds to 21.2 points and 10.9 rebounds per game. Somewhat of a methodical three-point release which is very accurate when given space. 72-151 (48%) from beyond the arc.

Read EvaluationEric Wallace | Prep Hoops Scout
One of the state’s top pure shooters, Witte is averaging over 21 points per game for the 13–6 Saints while shooting an impressive 48 percent from three-point range. The junior understands how to use screens, plays with a high basketball IQ, and consistently finds space to get clean looks. Beyond his perimeter shooting, he can mix in straight-line drives to the rim and contribute on the glass, giving him added value as an all-around offensive threat.
