Watson is a 5-foot-11 southpaw who is a marksman from deep. He doesn’t need much time or space to get his shot off, especially when it’s playing off the catch, but can also get into it off the bounce as he rocks his defender back and forth with crossovers. He plays with a strong base, has a quick first step and is agile enough to expose small driving lanes as he maneuvers through traffic with either hand before finishing at the rim.

Watson is a strong, left handed guard with a consistent perimeter jumper and the ability to stretch the defense with his shot making. The sophomore can serve as a secondary ball handler, initiate offense and attack off the dribble, where he is capable of getting downhill and finishing in the paint. Watson plays with a high motor and continues to trend in the right direction as a prospect in the 2029 recruiting class.
