Porter was one of the more interesting young evaluations because of how many different ways he could affect a possession. At 5-foot-4 and playing a frontcourt role, he doesn’t fit the traditional physical profile of a young big, but he compensates with skill, activity and a willingness to make plays. His ability to rebound, move the ball and knock down perimeter shots gives him a unique developmental profile for the 2035 class.

His versatility, basketball IQ, and high motor were on full display in Sunday’s championship game. He consistently impacted the game on both ends of the floor, helping keep his team within striking distance throughout. He rebounded at a high level on both ends, created opportunities as a playmaker, and knocked down key three-pointers when his team needed them most.
