Playing the best basketball of his career of late, Tolbert registered a double-double in a win over Mays. The senior, who is drawing interest from some of the top Junior College programs in the country, dominated the painted area at the offensive end, at the defensive end and on the glass. Tolbert continues to improve and has as much upside as any frontcourt prospect in the state.

Tolbert is a late blooming, very athletic, mobile, lefty big man. The Carver High School center is having his most productive season of his career averaging 11.4 points and 7.9 rebounds per game. The senior has great length, can make a midrange jumper and has some versatility at the defensive end.
