Tiernan McCullough
About Tiernan
Expert Analysis
Tom Keller | Prep Hoops Scout
McCullough was a catalyst for OLSH’s offensive surge. He had 14 points and scored a pair of three pointers. McCullough was in proper spots to shag rebounds. I thought he moves well in the flow of the offense. He didn’t record an assist but showed that he can move the ball. Think mastering his ball skills is imperative for his development as a player. I want to see him play off of two feet more when on the attack.

McCullough impressed with his versatility throughout the game. He was active on the glass securing rebounds on both ends of the floor. His rebounding on the offensive end allowed him to keep possessions going for OLSH. McCullough chipped in 13 points in the win. His calling card is the ability to make shots on the perimeter he made one but was more of a volume guy yesterday. McCullough was also able to connect with teammates for scoring chances of their own. He also sought out contact and got to the charity stripe. I want to see him improve his handle, and could become more developed when dribbling through congestion.

McCullough is an offensive catalyst who has no issue finding different ways to put the ball in the cup. He shoots a clean ball from behind the arc and if his feet are set there is a high chance he is converting from deep. He has no issue turning the corner and getting to mid-range spots. McCullough can find his teammates for scoring chances of their own. He could be more of a threat off-ball as a slasher.
