Newman is long and he makes plays off the dribble. He shoots left-handed from the outside but is a top-notch finisher with both hands around the hoop. He will also drain runners/floater with his R & L. Newman is a quality athlete and a crafty scorer. I like his footwork and elusiveness when attacking the basket. If he keeps this up, Thomas will be a sure-fire All-Stater.
