The Cedarcrest big man was a revelation for us at the Prep Hoops Expo this fall, and with his low-post game and high work-rate, he’s a guy we are looking forward to seeing this winter. He could be a big riser this winter with his array of post moves, toughness by the cup, and grinder personality on the floor.

Davenport was in one of our new addition articles for this update to the rankings, but he’s a kid I am excited to see in action this winter and could start to garner some momentum in his recruitment. He’s a post with skill and a motor whose career hit a little detour due to injury, but will be a name to watch this winter.

Davenport was a big find for us at The Expo two weekends ago. He’s a legit post who has a great work rate and showed some good skill operating from the blocks. Can finish with either hand, uses a variety of moves down low, and has the strength to fight through bodies to score and rebound. He should be a key guy at Cedarcrest this winter.
