Mitchell came onto my radar during the fall varsity league and he also looked good in Cimarron’s practice that I went to. He doesn’t try too force things on offense, and he can also hit shots from beyond the 3-point line.

Mitchell is a good player that could be a candidate for some defensive honors this season. He is a scrappy on ball defender, that relentlessly hounds ballhandlers. The new addition gets a terrific combination of quick hands and feet.

Got a good look at the scrappy guard. He’s a nice facilitator, that ran the Spartan offense to perfection. Good on ball defender and communicator.

Mitchell needs to get some love for what he did for the Spartans on Saturday. Thought his on ball defense was key, to allowing the team to play the style that they want to play. He played hard, but contributed more than intangibles, showing good offensive skill, scoring the ball off drives while knocking down a three as well.
