Expert Analysis
Britt Wright | Prep Hoops Scout
It’s safe to say that Goodman is one of the better rebounders in NorCal class of 2025. He brings the energy and effort going after rebounds on both ends. He gets put back points, and starts the transition break. He’s gonna get most of his points in the paint, while he continues to develop his jump shot. He’s a top notch defender, he runs the court finishing with authority in transition. His mid-range game is better. His numbers should go up across the board. 16 points

Goodman showed us he can be a top notch defender while he works to improve his offensive skills. He’s good around the basket, slashing and finishing, he works from the high, and mid post, and along the baseline, passing, and using a dribble or two, to finish at the rim, sometimes a two handed dunk, or paint jumpers. He has a quick jump, and long reach to go after and get blocks, and rebounds. He’s a growing body, getting stronger with good foot speed that helps him defend on the perimeter, and in the post.

What stood out to me about Goodman was how active he was around the rim defensively. Slasher that attacks from the wing perimeter. Use his athletic ability to finish over the defender absorbing the contact. Due to his size he accepted the role of guarding the team post players. With him being more agile than his opponent can cause a mismatch on the other end.

He’s in the 2025 class and we’ll be keeping a closer eye on what looks to be a rising prospect in this class. He’s still developing a skill set, nevertheless he’s 6’7 with a long wingspan, he jumps well, and plays hard coming off the bench for one of NorCals top teams. He has good bounce, and activity in the paint going for blocks and rebounds. He’ll get hustle points with his energy, running the court, and getting put-backs. He scored 6pts before fouling out.
