Tompkins, a small school prospect, has been steadily growing his game over the past couple of seasons, showcasing impressive development. His notable length gives him a significant edge on both ends of the court, allowing him to disrupt passing lanes effectively on defense. Offensively, Tanner’s ability to finish through contact around the rim has become a standout feature of his game. His consistent improvement and versatile skill set make him a rising player to watch in the coming season.

Tompkins has taken a big leap from last season, when he averaged just over 21 points and five rebounds per game. This winter, he’s averaging 28.9 points, 9.8 rebounds, 3.7 steals, and 1.9 blocks a game. The lengthy guard has done a great job working to the paint with his change of speeds and reach around the rim, and has balanced it out with some soft shooting from three, with 3.2 3PM a game at a 36% clip. He’s a skilled sleeper in this senior class, making a big statement in his final year of high school.

Here is one of the biggest risers in my eyes. He has been showcasing his length by getting tough finishes around the rim and being able to finish through contact. He hits the three really well, having a quick release and a green light to let it fly. He is a fantastic athlete and is a bucket getter on the court. Be on the watch for him. He’s a Division 1 or 2 talent.
