from San Gabriel Academy, and both delivered an impressive showing of interior play on both ends, as Daramola would have a monster stat line of 12 points, 13 rebounds, and 4 blocks. Daramola has good footwork in the paint, relentlessly crashes the boards to get putback opportunities, or limit the opposition to single shot possessions, outlets the ball to his guards and gets up the court to be available for transition dunks, has a long wingspan with great timing and instincts to block/alter shots in the paint, with the strides and timing to alter shots on the perimeter. Daramola has good court awareness, gets open in the dunker spot, the middle of the key, or diving to the basket off the pick and roll action to be available for the passes off the catch, has enough handle to attack from the top of the key, is effective with the mid-post jumper, and looks to hammer down the ball as soon as he is close to the basket. Daramola is agile and has the lateral quickness to stay in front of smaller players on switches, has active hands to deflect entry passes, as well as jump cross court passes and get out into transition.

The 6-foot-8 forward is an elite rim protector, dominates the glass, runs the floor to get ahead of the defense, and continues to expand his arsenal of scoring moves. Daramola continues to emerge as one of the top prospects in the Central Section regardless of class, and that was on display at the Meet in the Middle Showcase, as he would put up a solid double-double of 10 points, 10 rebounds, 3 blocks, and 1 steal in the win over Weston Ranch of Stockton, followed by 13 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 blocks in a loss to Destiny Christian of Sacramento. Daramola is an elite athlete, has good instincts and timing with bounce to block any shot near the basket, the versatility and agility to step out and contest perimeter shots, and crashes the boards on both ends to get putbacks on the offensive end with some dazzling dunks, or limit opponents to single shot possessions. Daramola has active hands to deflect entry passes, good timing to jump cross court passes and get steals, has enough handle to create from the top of the key to get to the basket, and continues to add to his mid-range scoring arsenal, with the fadeaway short porch shot, the drop-step into the close mid-range shot, and the spin move to score at the basket. His timing on dives off the pick and roll action often lead to lob dunks or easy finishes at the basket. Everytime I see him play in person I notice he has added something to his game or previous moves are becoming more routine. Sky is really the limit for the junior forward.

The 6-foot-8 forward is one of the best rim protectors in the Section, if not the state, dominant on the glass, and continues to add to his offensive skill set and scoring arsenal. Daramola has emerged as one of the top overall prospects in the Central Section regardless of class, has been impressive all Fall when I have seen him in person, and recently received another Division 1 offer from UC Santa Barbara. Daramola has great timing, gets off the ground quickly, and the wingspan to block/alter any shot around the basket, has the lateral quickness and foot speed to close out and alter shots on the perimeter, and his presence in the paint forces opposing players to adjust shots last minute or simply not even attempt to score in the post. Daramola is an elite rebounder, has the timing to get putback dunks and provide his team with second chance opportunities, while limiting opponents to single shot possessions. Daramola outlets the ball quickly, uses his strides and speed to get up the court to make himself available for transition dunks, and his timing and off ball movement has made him a true lob threat in the half court as soon as he gets a clearing. Daramola uses the drop-step, the up-and-under, and the fadeaway moves to score the ball within fifteen feet of the basket, is more confident with the short porch jumper, and can stretch the floor with the 3-ball on occasion. He continues to develop the handle and the burst of speed to get down the lane, and had a stellar stat-line of 23 points 8 rebounds, 3 steals, and 1 block in a home win over San Luis Obispo at the Tip-Off Classic at Bakersfield Christian.

Daramola is an athletic, physical, and bouncy player that dominates the paint on both ends, is an elite rim protector, and continues to improve his offensive skill set. The 6-foot-8 power forward is relentless crashing the boards, gets putbacks off the offensive rebound with tip-ins or dunks, has good timing and bounce to be an elite rim protector that blocks/alters shots in the paint, with the strides and agility to close out and alter perimeter shots, and is a solid interior defender that is learning to use his natural gifts and not overreach or extend to prevent foul trouble. Daramola has good post-footwork, looks increasingly comfortable using the drop step and spin-move to get space from opposing bigs, is effective with the one-dribble mid-post jumper off the bounce, and has good timing and body control diving off the pick and roll action, where is he always a threat to go get the ball off the lob for some crown pleasing dunks. Daramola continues to show he is one of the top overall prospects in the Central Section, and throughout the Western Region, as he would have two strong showings of 11 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 blocks, followed by a double-double of 14 points and 12 rebounds.
