Davenport brings one of the most gifted scoring profiles in the class. His athleticism leaps off the page, with an explosive bounce, strong frame, and the ability to finish above or through contact. What makes him especially intriguing for the college level is how complete his offensive game already looks. He can score off the bounce, knock down perimeter shots, create separation with dribble moves, and punish bigger mismatches with his speed. Davenport projects as a true threat who can impact a college backcourt from day one.

Davenport reminds me so much of Alex Rivera, a former Umass-Lowell player who I grew up playing against. Skye gets so much air (no pun intended) on his jumper, and he has a beautiful release above his head, so he’s incredibly difficult to stop when getting to his spots. He also holds his line incredibly well when driving to the rim and uses his off hand to ward off physical defense with ease. Really excellent player who I’m excited to see play at the Darrow School this season. Could be a scholarship player despite his lack of size.
