Nalls is an athletic wing who can get to the rim in a blur. He’s got an electric first step that leaves defenders in the dust. He is an allusive finisher around the rim, taking contact as well as changing angles while in the air to finish some tough buckets in the lane. I loved the passion he played with on the defensive end as well. He plays hard and competes to stay in front of the ball while rotating into help to make possession altering plays. A winner who plays hard and provides a lot.

Nalls delivered a strong performance Monday, scoring 16 points in a win for the Wolverines. The 5-foot-11 lead guard uses his quickness to consistently get into the lane and finish despite size and athleticism at the rim. The junior plays with high energy, gives great effort on both ends of the floor, and is a valuable contributor defensively and on the glass.

Nalls is the definition of a glue guy whose impact doesn’t always show up in the box score but is felt throughout the game. He embraces the dirty work, willingly stepping in to draw charges and making timely hustle plays that swing momentum. Offensively, he plays within himself, moving the ball unselfishly and knocking down open shots when defenses leave him. Nalls consistently does the little things — setting solid screens, rotating defensively, and making the extra pass — which earns him trust and meaningful minutes. His toughness, IQ, and team-first approach make him a valuable piece in any rotation.
