Against Southmoore, Durham started the game on fire. Knocked down four threes in the first half. Drained a deep one off the dribble by using a hop stop. Then was a reliable outlet as a catch and shoot spacer. Especially as he’s smart at moving to openings. Relocated to an opening when his teammates grab an offensive rebound, ran the floor for a three in transition. Ended up with five threes in the win. Usually was wide open because of his heady off the ball movement.

Durham is also more than just a floor spacing weapon. He’s one of the primary ball handlers for the Eagles. Did a good job of reading the floor off of ball screens. Plays with patience in those moments to give his teammates time to cut to the rim or find the space to attack himself. Clearly is making the best of his 580 PG education.

Durham is a sophomore sniper. Caught fire a bit in a match up against Del City. But he also showed no backdown in working hard to help break the press. And attacking the basket after being ran off the line. Has a crafty handle and did a good job of staying even kill and not getting sped up too much against older, quicker guards. Intriguing prospect to keep tabs on for an Ike team that potentially has the guards to make a big turnaround from last year’s 4-19 mark.
