Will Armishaw | Prep Hoops Scout
Knox, a sophomore forward out of Bishop Hendricken High School, is a floor spacer that continues to add elements to his game offensively. He has good positional size, does a nice job of being shot ready on the catch, and is starting to display the ability to attack closeouts and finish through contact at the rim. He makes good decisions with the ball in his hands, is an instinctive cutter, and can make shots in bunches when he gets hot.

Knox, a two-way wing out of Bishop Hendricken High School in Rhode Island, makes his first appearance in the rankings at #87. A 6’4″ wing with long arms and plus athleticism, Knox is an intriguing long term prospect that has the ability to make plays on both ends of the floor. Defensively, he makes tons of plays in passing lanes, showing good anticipation and the ability to make plays on balls in the air. He’s capable of turning steals into transition opportunities and shows the ability to finish creatively around the rim off the bounce. Offensively, he moves well without the ball, cuts hard to the rim, and can knock down threes in catch and shoot situations.

Knox, who heads into his first year at Bishop Hendricken, is another big wing that already impacts the game on the offensive end of the floor. Heading to one of Rhode Island’s premier high school programs, Knox has the chance to follow in the footsteps of a long line of prospects from Hendricken that have gone on to make an impact at the college level. He has great positional size and length, the ability to make plays for himself and others with the ball in his hands, and an impressive feel for the game in the half-court. While he’s lean, he has wiry strength and does a good job of finishing at the rim when contested. He’s a good defender that can make an impact both in passing lanes and at the rim. He’s another prospect with a high ceiling that should only continue to develop his game and body over the coming years.
