About RJ

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Shooting guard with the ability to score from anywhere on the floor. Confident shooter, strong off the ball, and always looking to make the right play. Team-first player who contributes on both ends of the court and works hard to create opportunities for teammates while staying ready to score when needed.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a team-first mentality and a strong work ethic. I’m coachable, competitive, and always looking for ways to improve my game. I stay positive, encourage my teammates, and do whatever it takes to help the team succeed.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

A/B Honor Roll

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed strong leadership and teamwork skills through basketball by encouraging my teammates, communicating on and off the court, and leading by example through hard work and dedication. I excel in the classroom. I have learned the importance of discipline, accountability, and perseverance, while also building respect for coaches, teammates, and my community.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I vercame injuries during both my freshman and sophomore years. As a freshman, I suffered a fractured wrist during the school basketball season, and as a sophomore, I sustained a foot injury at the end of the AAU season that required a walking boot. These experiences strengthened my perseverance, mental toughness, and determination.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that offers a strong balance between academics and athletics. I want a program where I can continue to develop my basketball skills, compete at a high level, and be part of a positive team culture. Academically, I am seeking a school that will prepare me for my future career while providing support and opportunities for personal growth
