About Reese

What's your biggest strength as a player, and how does it show up in games?

My biggest strength is my ability to create my own shot, attack downhill, and make plays for my teammates. I play with confidence, read the defense, and look for ways to create advantages for my team. I can score at the rim, get to my midrange, and use my court vision to help my teammates get good looks.

What are you working to improve right now?

I’m working on becoming a more complete point guard by improving my shooting consistency, ball handling, and decision-making. I’m also working on creating more separation, finishing against different defensive looks, and getting stronger and quicker. I study film and put in work every day to keep improving my game.

What are you looking for in a college program?

I’m looking for a program with a winning culture, great player development, and coaches who push their players to reach their full potential. I want to compete at the highest level possible, be part of a team that plays hard, and develop into a point guard who can make an impact on both ends of the floor.

Outside of your sport, what should coaches know about you?

Outside of basketball, I’m a hardworking, competitive, and coachable person who takes improvement seriously. I’m always looking for ways to learn, whether that’s studying film, listening to feedback, or working on my weaknesses. I’m willing to put in the time and stay disciplined because I have big goals for my future.

What do you want to study, and what career interests you?

I want to study something that will help me build a successful future while continuing to grow as a basketball player. I’m interested in learning about business, sports, and possibly entrepreneurship. I want to keep my options open, get a good education, and build a career I’m passionate about.

A strong-bodied guard who played with patience and made sound decisions on and off the ball. He stayed within himself, let opportunities develop and made plays when they came his way. His focus and work ethic stood out throughout camp.
