The all-time leading scorer in Ohio went out with a bang as Kwasniak started the game with a handful of shots at the rim by blowing by the primary defender off the dribble and using floaters to score in the paint before meeting a rim protector. In the second quarter, Kwasniak brought the entire UD Arena to their feet with three consecutive insane 3-pointers with two from NBA range and a third falling out of bounds. Kwasniak single-handily brought Cornerstone Christian to take a lead in the second quarter and give the game the spark that neutral fans were desperately seeking. Despite coming up short in the end, Kwasniak was very efficient and finished with 38 points on the biggest stage.

As long as Kwasniak stays healthy, he’ll shatter the career 3-point record in Ohio. He should also be one of the leading scorers in Ohio just like he was last season. With another huge scoring season, Kwasniak could separate himself by leading Cornerstone Christian to wins in some of their marquee regular season contests.

Kwasniak will rewrite the OHSAA record books for 3-pointers made when it’s all said and done. The best shooter in Ohio, Kwasniak puts up video game numbers from beyond the arc at Cornerstone Christian. After playing a role for Indy Heat on the EYBL circuit as a specialist, it was nice to see how Kwasniak fared against Division I caliber athletes on the other side. Mercyhurst, Utah State, Le Moyne, Canisius, Fairmont State Youngstown State and Army are posted offers from Kwasniak at the moment and it appears likely he will end up at one of those programs when his high school career comes to an end.

One of the elite shooters in the Midwest, Kwasniak was making it rain for Another Level Black this weekend. Getting some signature wins in the process, Kwasniak was making shots from all over the court. While the shooting is what creates the headlines, I thought Kwasniak showed good hustle as well in the game I saw. He forced a couple turnovers and even dove on the floor for a loose ball. Continuing to do these things will be crucial for Kwasniak to continue to impact the game outside of spacing the floor. Good weekend all around for Another Level Black, losing by three in the sweet 16 of the Platinum Bracket.

A prospect I was very excited to finally see in person a few weeks ago, I finally got a real scout of Kwasniak’s game in person. The best shooter in Ohio and one of the best in the Midwest, Kwasniak will have a role at the college level to flat out make shots. Kwasniak has learned how to get open without the ball and with the amount of defensive focus given to him, could have an easier time adjusting to the college level with more talented teammates surrounding him. At his current pace, Kwasniak is set to shatter all of Ohio’s 3-point shooting records and place his name in history.

My first-time watching Kwasniak in person and it’s clear that he’s the best shooter in Ohio. I normally shy away from statements like that but Kwasniak is putting up numbers that won’t be matched by anybody else and the eye test matches up, he’s one of the elite shooters in the country. A limited athlete to create his own shot, Kwasniak runs off a lot of screens and doesn’t need much daylight to let it fly. The degree of difficulty on his shots is so high that his percentages being where they are speaks volumes to his ability as a shooter. Seems like he’s developing physically as he’s grown over the past 12 months and starting to fill out his frame. Looking like a Division I talent, it’ll be interesting to see where Kwasniak’s recruitment develops this spring and summer.
