Swanson played a big role for Shorecrest as a balanced point guard who has the traditional skills of a table setter but also has shown the skills to finish in the paint with varied finishes. He can take it in and draw contact, pull up short with floaters, and is efficient at picking his spots to shoot from the outside. He’s the kind of player who does whatever is needed of him to grind out a win. He averaged 10 points, seven assists, five rebounds, and two steals per contest this season and helped Shorecrest to a 21-4 regular season and a state playoff birth.

Swanson is a gritty point guard who has helped Shorecrest get out to an 11-1 start this season. He’s a guy who fights to keep plays alive, whether it’s chasing down long rebounds, saving the ball from going out of bounds, or simply keeping his dribble alive. He does best in two-man action and transition where he can see passing windows develop on the move. He’s been a key contributor for the Scots so far with his quick reactions and hustle.

He’s a tough lefty point guard who does a great job facilitating in tight spaces and has shown some good shot-making ability off the dribble and around the paint. Is really active on both ends and should make a good impact in his first year at Shorecrest.
