Smith brings a competitive edge that shows up in the way he approaches the game. During the AAU World Championship, he was highlighted for his toughness, activity, and willingness to attack the basket.

He doesn’t need everything to be perfectly set up before looking to make a play. His willingness to put pressure on the defense and compete through possessions gives him a foundation to continue building on. I also like that his impact isn’t limited to scoring. Maintaining that level of energy while continuing to improve his decision-making and consistency will help him become a more complete contributor.
