A huge reason why Hopedale played in the championship, finishing at the rim as time expired in the Final Four. This player gets downhill curling off the ball screens. He has good use of ball fakes and stampedes the ball after catch. He is crafty baiting players into fouls. An important piece to this Hopedale team that will be hard pressed to replace next year. A leader and has all the tangibles a coach wants/needs.

Madden completely ran the show for his squad at the showcase. The lefty guard is lightning quick with the ball in his hands and can absolutely stroke it from the three-point line. He made multiple shots from deep and then began driving closeouts once the defenders caught on to his long range shooting. Really fun player to watch, and you always feel confident when he has the rock.

The southpaw Madden had a standout tournament. He helped lead the 10th grade Mass Elite team to win the championship. He showed his clutch gene by hitting a game winning corner three on a perfectly executed side line out of bounds play. Madden also had a few crafty finishes in the lane. Madden really moves well without the ball, and is constantly in motion. Madden is an efficient player, and get to his spots quickly. Madden proved this weekend he is a big time shot maker.
