It was hard for any one individual to really stand out in Tuesday night’s low-scoring affair, but Doolin ended up leading Greenwood to a 37-33 win over rival Center Grove in the first round of the Johnson County Tournament. The 6’6″ unsigned senior forward finished with 12 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 assists.

Doolin really caught our attention when watching Greenwood play Plainfield last season. He nearly helped lead the Woodman to an upset victory as the 6’6″ forward knocked in a couple of three-point shots and drove it along the baseline for a big two-handed dunk. His offensive versatility and athleticism are very, very intriguing. Small college programs looking for a bouncy forward that can stretch the floor should be all over Doolin heading into his senior season.

Doolin immediately broke into the Prep Hoops Indiana Top 100 after we went to watch Greenwood play at Plainfield last season. The 6’6″ athletic forward made a couple of catch-and-shoot three-point shots and then finished an impressive baseline drive with a two-handed dunk. He went on to average 10.3 points and 6.4 rebounds per game as a junior and should really blossom into an attractive small college prospect during his senior season. Look for his recruitment to heat up.

We came away very impressed with the development of this 6’6″ forward after watching Greenwood play at Plainfield this past season. Doolin did a little bit of everything from stepping out to knock down a couple of three-point shots to finish above the rim with two-handed dunks, to rebounding everything in his area. He is a bouncy, mobile athlete. Doolin averaged 10.3 points and 6.4 rebounds per game this season.

Doolin will absolutely find himself in our Prep Hoops Indiana Class of 2026 Prospect Rankings when we update in March. In fact, I texted a few small college coaches in order to make sure he was added to their lists. That is how impressive the 6’6″ forward was on Friday night. He hit three three-point shots in the third quarter, drove and dunked it against a closeout, and finished with 17 points and 6 rebounds for the Woodmen.
