Lamar has been an impressive stock-riser this season and he kept at it during Lincoln’s run to a second-place finish. He was fourth in 3PM, third in total assists, and just seemed to play with more control and confidence this season. He hit timely shots behind the arc, was pesky in spots defensively, and made some great decisions off his drives to dime up teammates or get the rock swinging around.

Lamar has taken a big step forward this season, and a lot of it has to do with his improved outside shooting. He knocked down five 3-pointers yesterday en route to a game-high 17 points. He looked in full control with the ball and also dimed teammates, including a big alley-oop pass to Shareef-Dulaney just before the first quarter ended.
