Goins is a point guard that scouts and coaches would love to see. The quick twitch guard can advance the ball through pressure with his speed and handles and can use the pass as well. Goins instinctually knows how to successfully run an offense.

Goins has been lights out this grassroots season and coaches and scouts will want to check out his game. Goins is a terrific ball handler and floor general. There aren’t a lot of point guards that can consistently initiate the offense with the pass like he can.

It was a foregone conclusion that Goins would make his way onto the First Team All-Tournament list just an hour or so into the event. The super athletic guard from Brandywine High School in Michigan put on a show on Friday night scoring 29 points in Soil’s win over Grand Park Premier White. Between throwing down a dunk in the lane and knocking in several three-point shots it was a spectacular individual performance.

Anytime you see a sub-6’0″ guard split his way down the middle of the lane, take off, and hammer home a huge one-handed slam it will catch your attention. However, that was far from the only play that Goins made on Friday night. The talented guard from Brandywine High School in Michigan went off for 29 points while leading Soil 17u to an impressive win over Grand Park Premier White 17u.

Goins was fun to watch at Rumble In The Rapids. He just knows how to play the point guard position. Goins plays quick, controls pace and gets the ball to it’s spots. He was probably one of the best decision makers with the ball in the gym this weekend.
