Nova Whiteside separated himself as a premier young lead guard at the East CP3 National Middle School Combine, displaying a level of offensive versatility and polish that made him a challenging assignment for opposing defenses. Whiteside had the ability to dictate the tempo, create opportunities for himself and put teammates in favorable positions to score. His advanced skill set allowed him to approach possessions in different ways, making it difficult for defenders to anticipate his next move. What made Whiteside particularly impressive was his ability to balance individual production with his responsibilities as a primary ball-handler. His confidence, decision-making and overall command of the offense reflected a guard with significant long-term potential.
