Payton showed off a solid two way game throughout the event this past weekend. He knocked down shots from beyond the arc at a high clip while also driving to create offense for himself and teammates. He had a flurry of transition points in the game I got to sit down and watch him play in. Defensively he proved to be valuable guarding the ball and putting a lot of pressure on other guards, he came up with several steals that led to transition buckets for him. Payton is going to be a solid piece at the high school level and could even carve out a nice role for himself this year.
