The true definition of a “bucket getter”. Nickson is an electric scoring guard who can light up the scoreboard in a hurry. Whether he has the ball in his hands or is off the ball, the results are the same. That type of versatility makes him a tough cover for opposing teams. The shot making comes in a variety of ways. Off the catch, he’s automatic but the shot creation and handle with the ball in his hands is superb as well.

Along with the shot making, Nickson is an exceptional slasher and downhill driver. His ball handling and shiftiness helps keep defenders off balance. Left hand dominant but he’s shown the ability to finish with his off hand when needed. As an eighth grader, Nickson played sparingly at Berean Baptist where he averaged around five points per game. A year of experience playing higher level competition will bode well for him at Pine Forest. His new team is young but exciting and will be a perfect match for what Nickson does well.
