Reports out of District 3 were that Exeter had a promising freshman in the starting five and George certainly showed good reason for intrigue with his spirited play on Sunday. He has one of the most promising physical profiles of any freshman we’ve seen thus far, combining elite length with cat-like quickness and easy leaping ability. George plays with persistent energy while showing a real nose for being around the ball on both ends of the floor and is a committed defender who can really get into the ball with his length and quickness. His offensive skillset is still a work in progress but he shows some control to his ball skills and footwork. Even with plenty of work left to be done, the physical tools and defensive upside alone make George one to monitor very closely moving forward.
