About Morgan

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a guard who can stretch the floor, make good decisions, and create for myself or others. I can score at different levels, move well without the ball, and use my length defensively. I try to play with good spacing, find gaps, and make the right play for the team.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is to keep improving every day as both a player and a teammate. I’m motivated to put in the work, learn from coaches, and do whatever I can to help the team win. I want to keep getting better, earn my opportunities, and prove I can help a college program.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I have a part-time job at GetJoy, where I help mentor team members with different abilities. We work together making and serving coffee, mini pancakes, and ice cream. It has helped me become more patient, responsible, and a better leader.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed leadership, teamwork, patience, and communication skills through basketball and my job at GetJoy. Helping mentor team members with different abilities has taught me how to support others and lead by example. Basketball has taught me how to be coachable, work with teammates, and do what’s best for the team.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One challenge I faced was moving from Florida to Pennsylvania before my sophomore year. I had to adjust to a new school, new teammates, and a new basketball environment. It was not easy at first, but I kept working and earned a varsity spot as a sophomore. That experience taught me how to adapt, stay confident, and prove myself.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college where I can grow as a student, player, and person. I want to be part of a program where I can be coached, compete, and earn a role. I’m also looking for strong academics, good team culture, and a place where I would enjoy being outside of basketball
