About Mitchell

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would consider myself as a pass first, true point guard. I am a lockdown defender that hustles.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I consider myself coachable, respectful, level-headed, and a team player, who is diligent.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I currently volunteer almost weekly at church, I was involved in a 4-H shooting club, and I showed sheep when I was younger.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

My coach allowed me to call plays when on court. I am a great teammate and the first to encourage others. I have volunteered often doing community service through my church and school.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

My family has been a foster family for 13 years. We have continually brought kids into our home. I lost a coach I was close to due to a sudden heart attack last year. I have dealt with a coach that was very difficult and would tear players down.

Mitchell Morgan Mitchell Morgan Mitchell Morgan 5'11" | PG/CG Homeschool | 2025 TX is someone you don’t want to leave much room for defensively when he is handling the ball on offense. He is a huge threat offensively capitalizing on getting to his spots on all three levels of the floor resulting in many made shots. In transition he was very efficient in making majority of his layups, going coast to coast. When his team gets a defensive stop Mitchell does a great job coming to his teammates who grabbed the rebound so he can start the offense at times playing the point guard position. Defensively Mitchell really stood out with his on the ball play moving his feet staying right in front of his Team Oklahoma- White assignments. At times Mitchell forces his assignments into turnovers which I really liked about his defense.
