-Hemann’s value to his team continues to see an uptick as he has earned more consistent minutes playing up several positions as a small ball forward that can really stretch the floor with his shooting. With good positional size and instincts he is beginning to impact the game as a help side shot blocker and on-ball defender with increasing consistency. Want to see him hunt his shot more assertively in the halfcourt because he can get off his shot over pretty much any defender in his league and can really help to space the floor for the Bulldogs

-Love that Hemann doesn’t force the action and is productive in his role as a shooter with good size that has really picked it up at the defensive end of the floor. Hemann started it off with a beautiful baseline pull-up after swiping through to attack a hard closeout. He then knocked down a big wing 3 off the kickout and scored a putback off glass to make it a double digit game down the stretch. Loved the fight shown to not only make a recovery block from the help side but to re-position and block the next shot without fouling a few moments later.

-Hemann knows his role and plays it to perfection, providing some crucial floor-spacing for a veteran Bullis team hungry to keep their winning momentum going this year with several national opponents on the schedule. Hemann’s footwork coming off of pindowns and staggers allows him to get 10 toes facing the rim before catching the ball and letting one go from beyond the arc. His size allows him an extra second or two of time to get off a look before the contest can affect his shot and his team will look for him even more in the halfcourt with 3 starters heading off to college. His ability to make plays off the bounce, step into midrange jumpers, and defend at the other end will be critical to his performance in his final season in blue and yellow.

Hemann knows his role and fills it to perfection, letting it fly from beyond the arc with confidence off movement, off screens, and in C+S situations. With a good, consistent shot with a fluid release– Hemann has the positional size to intrigue college coaches as a guy that knows his role but also isn’t afraid to make the extra pass.
