Micah is effective in transition and very skilled in isolation situations against mismatch defenders. His frame allows him to get defensive stops at every position, and he provides extra help from the guard slot crashing the glass. Micah can beat opponents scoring the basketball from anywhere on the court and he excels at playing either combo guard slot. He will look to make a major impact this year transferring to North Shore and giving the Mustangs more depth at the guard slot.

Micah was a great guard to watch in transition and driving to the rim through tough contact during his team’s games. Malone can score off isolation opportunities, get himself to the foul line, and play solid defense both in and out of the paint. His wiry 6’3 frame allows him to notch steals, score over opposing players, and provide extra help when crashing the glass. Malone’s motor was also good in the games I watched, and he definitely made an extra effort to make sure his team did not go home early on Sunday.
