In 2024-25 Aylmer was freshman starter in the Philadelphia Catholic League who posted a stat line of 8.5 points, 4 assists and 3 rebounds per night while shooting 33% from deep. Back in late February Aylmer assembled a double double of 16 points and 10 assists against Overbrook. This speedy and elusive point guard can get into the lane off the dribble where he can score in numerous ways. When his attacks on the rim produce whistles, Aylmer punishes opponents at the free throw line. Aylmer can also get paint touches and then deliver well-timed kick out passes. He is an effective passer in pick-n-roll action too. His live dribble dimes in the open court are extremely impressive. As a bonus to all his off the dribble skills, Aylmer is a highly accurate 3-point shooter.

By far the most productive lead guard among PCL freshmen, Aylmer had it all clicking from the opening tip. He came out looking to distribute, consistently generating advantages and setting up teammates for easy looks. Aylmer would go on to show his polished downhill scoring package and reliable shooting ability en route to a 16-point, 10-assist effort with nearly flawless decisionmaking. He also stood out using his length and quickness to be a factor on D. With his maturity and balanced skillset, Aylmer could start to generate some buzz on the 15U 3SSB circuit this spring and summer.

The other key newcomer to a revamped LC lineup, Aylmer announced himself to be a factor for years to come in the PCL. A skilled and aggressive guard, he was often given the keys to the Crusdaers’ offense. He maintained relative efficiency as a scorer for a young guard while also showing he could make plays for his teammates. The experience he got this year will pay dividends as he and Stevens look to push LC toward the playoff picture as sophomores.
