Previous Rank: 66rnThis guy stepped up big for a West Seattle team that made it out of the Metro League to the regional round at state. Holliman is a versatile player who can succeed in a variety of roles. This season that role was to run the show from the point, and score more than he had before. He’s also a strong defender who can pick up multiple positions, rebounds well, and has sneaky athleticism.

The Wildcats lost their top two guys from a year ago and it has now fallen on Holliman to step up and lead the way. While West Seattle is 7-3, they are not currently ranked in the AP poll. That being said, Holliman has done a great job switching over to more ballhandling duties while also picking up the scoring load. His pace with the ball has picked up and he’s set the tone for some of the Wildcat’s other players to thrive in bigger roles as well. It’s a tough Metro League again but anything can happen at Districts and West Seattle has the talent to pull off some upsets if they can just get their foot in the door.

This summer Holliman showed massive potential as a two-way player that can guard multiple positions, score from different spots, and be a playmaker without having to have his hands on the ball at all times. That was for an ECBA team that had a handful of top 100 players in our 2023 WA class. Heading into the high school season, Holliman has an opportunity to be one of the primary scorers and playmakers for a West Seattle team that lost their top two scorers from last season. There is a good chance Holliman expands on what he was able to do this summer and lead the Wildcats in a lot of categories this season while also continuing to match up with the opposing teams’ top players.

This guy already hangs his hat on his defensive effort but there is always room to grow. Holliman brings great versatility on the defensive end, able to guard 1-4 thanks to his agility and strength. You can see how he locks in on ball, and his communication and awareness off of it are outstanding as well. A lot of minutes opened up at West Seattle after last season and Holliman has a chance to really display his defensive skills this year.
